Solar Marine Supply offers engineering and load calculation services to assist in system design and product selection for renewable energy systems.
We offer free telephone technical advice to our customers that seek to upgrade their energy and electrical systems. Solar PV Panels, Wind Generators, Electric Drives, Battery Monitors, Battery Banks (Lead Acid / AGM / Li-ION), Charge Controllers and related marine apparatus, as these are complex systems that may not be completely understood or readily available to the marketplace. Advancing technology and new systems are becoming more complex with difficulties arising from a variety of products and situations with various manufacturers. Solar Marine Supply can provide you with solutions for all your systems and components.
Boat owners have specific needs and each boat has its own set of technical challenges. We offer personalized and on-site engineering services to provide the best of system design and equipment. For most systems, we charge a $150 engineering fee within a 50 mile driving distance. This would include a system drawing, itemized equipment list and load calculation.
If the entire system is purchased from Solar Marine Supply, we will provide a 50% Credit of the engineering fee towards the system purchase.
If the system is purchased and installed by Solar Marine Supply, the entire engineering fee will be credited towards the full purchase / installations price of your system.
